Craniosacral Therapy

Gathering Essence has a long-standing reputation as the place to go for Craniosacral Therapy in Edinburgh and our beautiful studio is a nourishing and supportive space in which to receive treatment.

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, yet profound, hands-on bodywork where the practitioner uses a highly skilled sense of touch and perception to support the inherent health of the client, instigating healing and restoring balance. This allows stuck physiological and psychological patterns of tension to resolve, the body and mind to integrate fully and an opportunity to rest deeply in potency and stillness.

Craniosacral Therapy is suitable for all ages, from babies to the elderly.

The benefits of Craniosacral Therapy may include:

  • a sense of calm and wellbeing

  • less pain

  • better energy levels

  • a greater sense of clarity

  • lower stress levels and anxiety

  • better immune function

  • a more relaxed nervous system

  • neck/back pain

  • headaches/migraines
